Here’s me: Mother of two, grandmother to three, early retired to live the life I always wanted (away from a very stressful executive career in government) in my dream home. I travel a lot in and out of Australia. I adore intelligence and humor in equal amounts and have so many interests.
I live in a remote coastal community on the east coast of Australia. It’s a 75-km trip to the Post Office and town but I am surrounded by the beauty and wonder of Australia has to offer! :-)
As I said, I do have a lot of interests but that does not mean we have to have the same interests - the best thing about friends, strong friendship are not always about the sameness but the interest in the differences.
I love: reading, writing letters, mail art, archaeology, SCUBA, swimming, snorkeling, music, traveling everywhere but esp. in my beloved Pacific (just did Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and returning to Vanuatu in March), shark diving (in and out of a cage), medieval history, earth sciences, genealogy, nature photography, symbology, volcano trekking, exploring Australia, collecting fountain pens, postcards, mineral specimens, ancient stone tools and art from the Pacific Islands and some crafts when time permits.
